Kevin's 11000+ foot summits

In the Canadian Rockies there are 54 summits over 11,000 feet (3353 metres) or 58 summits?(Thanks Corbett). I would be very happy to summit all of these grand peaks. In the Columbia Mountains (Purcells, Selkirks, Monashees and Cariboos Ranges) there are 17 summits over 11,000 feet. To also climb all these mountains would be the icing on the cake of my mountaineering life. As of 2024, I have climbed 41 of 58 Rockies 11,000’ers and 5 of 17 Columbia 11,000’ers. Mt. Delphine

3406m (11,175 ft.)

August 9, 2020 teamed up with my old climbing buddy Raff for a second attempt at Mt. Delphine. Raff and I attempted Delphine back on July 22, 2012. Success in 2020, again via an approach from McDonald Creek. From a bivy just north of Peter Pass, we ascended NW Glacier to NE Ridge, were joined enroute randomly by Matt from Invermere; Matt came from a bivy in Farnham Creek.
