Mt. Murchison
3348m (10,983ft.)
Is this peak an 11,000'er? Probably not, but August 8 solo’ed Mt. Murchison. Serious mountain, and seriously FUN. This big peak has it all, solid rock for lots of freewheeling fifth class fun, evil steep loose scree above death cliffs and, in the conditions I had, the need for crampons and ice tool.

Lyell 3 (Ernest Peak) Lyell 2 (Edward Peak) & Lyell 1(Rudolph Peak)
3511m (11,520ft.),  3514m (11,528ft.) & 3507m (11,505ft.)
No 11,000’ers in 2018. July 26 summitted Lyell 1 to 3 after being stuck in a tent with rain and high winds for nearly two days. Approach via Glacier Lake. Great trip with Scott Berry.
