Jason Wilcox and I had a great time on Mt. Cline September 9. Directly up to the summit from the parking lot, back to camp by the beautiful lakes, then the weather crapped out, perfect timing.
Mount Kitchener
What a trip, my first trip ever with Rafal Kazmierczak and Jason Wilcox. Also joining us were the brothers Nugara, Andrew and Mark. Perfect conditions and weather on August 19. Up and down the East Ridge route, the notch was difficult and slowed us down a lot. Jason showed his courage and skill and cruised the loose and exposed 5.5 notch climb. One of my most memorable climbs.
Mount Andromeda
3450m (11,316ft.)
Big group, 4 of us up the Skyladder route. Steve was ill and stayed behind. Trevor, Andrew, Mark and I went up Skyladder, about 10 hours to the true summit, then we started raps towards the AA col. Snow was mush south of AA, we had to wait for an overnight freeze. Long trip, but was very happy to bag the legendary Skyladder.
