Kevin's 11000+ foot summits

In the Canadian Rockies there are 54 summits over 11,000 feet (3353 metres) or 58 summits?(Thanks Corbett). I would be very happy to summit all of these grand peaks. In the Columbia Mountains (Purcells, Selkirks, Monashees and Cariboos Ranges) there are 17 summits over 11,000 feet. To also climb all these mountains would be the icing on the cake of my mountaineering life. As of 2024, I have climbed 41 of 58 Rockies 11,000’ers and 5 of 17 Columbia 11,000’ers. 1995

Mount LeFroy

3423m (11,230ft.)

Tim Bester, Andy Meyers and I up and down the standard West Face route. A pile of fresh snow a few weeks before made this ascent perfect, ideal snow conditions for last weekend of September.

Mount Joffre

3450m (11,319ft.)

Tim Bester, Andy Meyers and I up the North Face and descended North East Ridge, great snow conditions. Climbed third weekend in September.
